Wega not selling today

It's the panicking retailers that are getting out today. RBC is a buyer.
Today's summary so far:

It appears that anything that smells of Margaret Kent is being sold off!!!!!!!!! Look at TAM, MLE.H. She needs to go!!!! Wait until the YR end comes out, then we should see the capitulation. AND she has the audasity to remain for another term. Amazing! This woman's EGO overwhelms all realization and common sense.

Sorry Carib, I was unable to view the link. Could it be that after the share price reaches a certain point then it doesn't take much to trigger an avalanche in stop loss selling. At that point, RBC can just sit back and watch.

Again, I haven't seen what kind of numbers are on the buy side for RBC today. However, if Wega happened to be on the buy side today then that would be a very sweet deal for them indeed. You know, be a major contributor in knocking the price down from the 30's range all the way down to the $.135 area, and then once total panic has set in then gobble those shares back up at all time lows (potentially $.115 range). Of course, there is no proof that Wega is on the buy side today (without any filings), but if they are then it wouldn't say very much about our Canadian market regulators. I mean, it's bad enough what they have been able to get away with since Feb. 1'08 (filed on insider filings on SEDI).

Yeah, Dec3, the June Corporate presentation is a sloppy edit of the February one.

You missed where they are still saying they have 2 operating mines in Peru.

Brent appears to be out of the loop. Sad to see no real accurate information stated by him. Nice character and I have a feeling he only states what he thinks is true.

I don't see PK leaving without a fight. There is to much at stake for her to admit defeat. It looks like this is her last kick at the can and being a successful miner/CEO. It is game over for her career wise if this is not a success.Just an other older single woman with her cat probably would not appeal to her at all.

I guess there are a lot of T's to cross and I's to dot for the auditors . The longer it takes the more scared folks become.

Guess I will buy even lower as the days progress. I have managed to accumulate a nice number at these new and better prices LOL. Averaging down though usually a fools game, in this case might turn out to be brilliant. I hope so.

There is one heck of a lot of gold there and no short term danger of going under so all things are possible. It is a crapp shoot and I will notice it if I lose. Still seems worth the gamble.

Yup, just one of those perfect storms where you just might make it through to the other side just in time. Keep the life jackets on mates. If the SS NO 70 MILL comes along she will hit us and we will sink for sure. Until then it looks like we might make it.

By the way did you know we do a worker rotation with some of the Peruvians coming here and working in Quebec from time to time. Sure could get a lot of good miners from down south if we needed them.

Withnessing CMM's future unfold is like watching paint dry.

Normally, the old adage that "no news is good news" does not apply to PK's operations. That is why I'm barcing for the worst (but deep down hope to be surprised!). By now she should be well aware that CMM is her last kick at the proverbial can. No-one will ever deal with her in the mining world if she totally destroys this company. She should be well aware of that.

Notice how this company cares for its shareholders.........NOT.

Just found out that there was a Board of directors meeting today in Vancouver. I hope this is where PK presents the financials for BOD review.

My prediction is a pre-market news release, but who knows, I am so used to disappointment now.

Someone want to guess what the write off damage will be for Q407?

I estimate $40M.... $23M from sigma op, $7 from Rosario, $3M from the failed bid, $5M from the bad hedging bet, $2M from equipment write offs.

Judging from the current share price, I might be understating it.

BigJohn, tomorrow is Friday the 13th!

I predict that the losses will be between $30 -$40 million.

On the bright side, the balance sheet will be cleaned up - no more deferred stripping costs for shareholders to worry about.

PK will probably lay out all the financing options she has been negotiating.

The market has factored everything into the current share price.

Maybe they'll hire a new CEO?

It seems to me that since Wega is selling again that it may be a sign that PK is not stepping down. They are displaying their confidence and displeasure the only way they can that will get CMM's BOD attention.

False alarm - the board meeting yesterday was for TAM not CMM. They held their AGM too from what the boyz say.
