On the surface this may not seem like important news, but it is actually huge news given the history of this company.

``November 15, 2010``

It means that Century is looking to release Q3 financials 15 days before they are due. In addition, November 15th is the TSX ``big board`` deadline (the Venture deadline is November 30th). Century is continuing to send the message (to that regulatory boards, the institutions and the analysts) that they serious about conducting business in a professional manner (or at least this is what they are attempting to establish/re-establish). The Q2 results were issued 18 days early. Now they are looking to issue the Q3 results 15 days early.

They are also trying to demonstrate a track record for the TSX to reference, once Century applies to trade on the TSX ``main board``. Grauating to that board (eventually) should give us more explosure to more institutions (and potential to be included in a small cap index), which should be very beneficial once gold fever really hits in the mainstream market - emerging/growing Quebec and Peru gold producers will be looked at as being excellent leverage to the gold price.

This notice is an improvement over the past "irreverence" towards filing deadlines and quarterly result publication.

Glad I dont have to guess when results will be released.

Good to see Century is trying to change their image. A move to Toronto or Vancouver would be even better.

Why does it seem that there is a never ending supply of 'sellers' at $0.49 and $0.50? Enough with the penny flipping. Hold this thing long.

The other meaningful part of the NR is this:

``The Company's senior management will host a conference call on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at 11:00 AM (P.S.T.) to discuss financial results and provide an update of the Company's activities.``

In my view, there will be no meaningful changes in the Q3`10 financials to discuss on the 16th. As mentioned in the past, even if commercial production at Lamaque is declared at the end of Q1`11 the first significant change in the company`s financials will not show up until the Q2`11 statements (to be issued in August 2011).

As such, this upcoming conference call, and all subsequent conference calls until August 2011, will be meaningful for mainly discussions on company activities (starting August 2011 is when we can start anticipating meaningful dicussions on Net Profit, Cash Flow, CF per sh, Earnings per sh, PE ratios......).

As a result, setting a conference call for Nov. 16th implies that Hulley will be discussing meaningful company activities. With the coference call date set and published, he probably feels very comfortable that Bedard Dyke will be coming onstream before then, otherwise he would have pushed the call to a later date. You can`t have institutions and analysts sitting in on the call and not be able to say that BD is already in production. Hopefully Hulley is anticipating that BD will be in production by end of October/start of November, thus he will have 2 weeks worth of BD performance data to share with shareholders, potential investors, institutions and analysts during the conference call.

The Nov. 16th call would also be a nice time to introduce the new CEO. We shouldn`t really hold our breath for that to occur though. They haven`t provided any recent updates on how things are progressing on that front.
