Hedgehog Trader Newsletter - BUY Century Mining

Hedgehog Trader Newsletter HedgehogTrader.com on 09/17 alerted subscribers to BUY Century Mining. In the past the brains behind the Hedgehog Trader Newsletter, Nicholas Winton using proprietary algorithms has enjoyed success in recommending mining stock BUY and SELL points. Unlike a lot of other herd following analysts, Nicholas is not afraid to take a position. So, cutting to the chase this is what he had to say, "With production set to rise rapidly, it is no surprise that our Alpha signals suggest a major rise should ensue over the coming months!"

The blog is pleased to welcome its newest member - Wolf Advocate. Wolf has contributed to the blog on previous occasions, but as a commenter only.

Wolf sent me a copy of the Hedgehog Trader Alert on CMM and I have posted it as an Information Link to the right.

Thank-you for sharing this really good news as it is very good exposure for Century. I hope you don't mind my increasing the font size of your post - it was worthy of a larger size.

Welcome WA. . nice to see the alert and more and more action here!

I spent 3 hours yesterday researching and analyzing gold miners seeing if there was any play that had a upside anywhere near CMM from here. I could not even find ONE that came close.

Glad to know Hedge Hog has recommended CMM on their buy list. Look forward to reading more of your insights. Cheers and Welcome!

I had spent months doing the same before i made my first buy. There was really none that came close and believe will not likely to find one now. To me, CMM is the best considering its risks and price/reward ratio

One place to look for BUY recommendations for Century is with the lesser-known analysts who are willing to go out on a limb. I also think we can get some BUY interest from the Penny Stock analysts if they understand the nuances of the mining industry and where CMM fits in by the numbers.

One technique that can work is to identify likely analysts with creative Goggle Searches. Use terms like Maverick Penny Stock Recommendations. Once you have identified a possible candidate analyst send him or her email asking them what they think about Century Mining. Most likely they never heard of CMM so educate them about some of the positive attributes and give them some links to follow.

WA - Funny - I've been thinking of doing a project writing to analysts as well.

If anyone wants to work with me on creating a list of analysts / newsletter writers and emailing them as a campaign, let me know. Either respond here or my email is realeconomics@gmail.com.

IMO - I think we should focus on newsletters that are reputable within the resources and metals space.

If we get a total pump and dump penny stock promoter who knows nothing about the Gold industry, it may be good for the price for 2 days and case a parabolic spike, but may actually cause damage long term as we may be seen as a "promoted pump and dump" instead of a solid multi-bagger opportunity. I don't want people to think Century is "Big Bear Mining" (for those who have not heard that was a big scam pump and dump promotion - Google it for the story)

However, real coverage by more analysts and writers like Victor Goncalves can only do us good.

A few I've thought of as possibly worth writing to are:

Greg McCoach (Mining Speculator)

Peter Spina (Goldforecaster.com)

Bob Moriarty (321gold.com)

Adam Hamilton (Zeal)

Warren Bevan (Precious Metals Stock Review)

Thom Calandra (TickerTrax).

I have not written any of them yet except Thom through Stockhouse because I exchanged messages once with him before. If people are interested, we can build a list and add their emails so we know how to reach them.

I think timing might be important also. If we do it now, they may have more reservations. I'm thinking the best time to do it would be perhaps upon announcement of the new CEO. That way the biggest uncertainty is taken care of and it's worthy of attention.

RE – Some excellent points you brought up. I will contact you via g-mail to help put together that list. I strongly believe; it will be the Penny Stock Investors who will be raising our share price to at least the $2 level. Main mining investors will be split between ‘Big Bear Mining’ chasers and large conservative companies with 20% growth per year. Penny Stock investors want to hit one out of the park with something more on the order of 100% growth per year. Where we stand out in this marketplace is we are not betting on technology. At the end of the day, even if all goes wrong, we still have bankable assets in the ground as opposed to a technology dream or a drug in clinical trials with a possible chance of success.

I think timing is less critical. The final BUY recommendation will come not on a whim but only after 3 or more exposures to Century’s market position and familiarity with the people who run it. It is not at all unlike marketing a widget with good advertising. At this point, the sooner we get them the information to the analysts the better. The positive feedback that will help get us to that BUY recommendation are:

 CMM has good Diamond Core Drilling results.
 Announcing a new CEO with credentials that are respected by Bay Street.
 Containing DB.
 Pouring technology into Peru while still respecting the culture and community.
 Staying away from wild acquisitions.
 Remain committed to using the best available milling and underground technology for Lamaque.

Hi Wolf Advocate
Ref to the Hedgehog Alert U sent to Carib, I notice author has grossed over what CMM has in the ground of 100% owned Lamaque as merely inferred resources of over 5million ounces. However, officially we have total NI43101
2p-1,321,287oz, M&I-1,300,366 and inferred-3,305,904oz. Perhaps these figures should be highlighted to Hedgehog? For me, the meaning and quantity of these 2 sets of figures are materially different.
