Century to Review Lamaque Gold Mine Progress at PDAC

BLAINE, WASHINGTON--(Marketwire - March 4, 2010) - Century Mining Corporation ("Century" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:CMM) invites all shareholders and prospective investors to visit Century at booth #2126 during the PDAC conference being held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, South Building, Sunday, March 7th through Wednesday, March 10th.

Members of the senior management, technical and engineering team will be present to update investors on the Company's Lamaque Gold Mine project development progress and also the gold production plan commencing in the second quarter of 2010. The Company will also be showcasing diamond drill core from the Lamaque exploration program, where visible gold was identified in each of the drilled holes. The Company will be on hand to also discuss its San Juan Gold Mine, which Century has operated since 2006.

Century is aggressively advancing the pre-production development work at its 100% owned Lamaque Gold Mine, and recently commenced underground mining and completed the first underground blast on March 1, 2010. We are currently stockpiling ore on surface and look to commence milling in the second quarter of 2010.
