TPD conversion to ounces at Lamaque - ramp up profile

:
:
:
90,000 Lamaque ounces next year (2011) = a bit more than 1700 tpd

Assumptions:

average grade = 4.76 g/t
recovery rate = 95%

Ore tonnes per day (TPD) at Lamaque converted to Lamaque ounces (everything excluding San Juan):

700 tpd = 36,636 annualized production ounces at Lamaque

800 = 41,868

900 = 47,100

1000 = 52,344

1100 = 57,576

1200 = 62,808 (+ 20,000 ounces at San Juan)

1300 = 68,040

1400 = 73,272 (+ 20,000 ounces at San Juan)

1500 = 78,504

1600 = 83,748

1700 = 88,980 (+ 20,000 to 30,000 ounces at San Juan)

1800 = 94,212

1900 = 99,444

2000 = 104,676 (+ 30,000 ounces at San Juan)

As you can see, it makes things very interesting if Century is able to ramp up to 1200 tpd as early as June or July or August or September of this year. It appears as if some people are suggesting that Century is trying their best to see if they can hit 1200 tpd in the second half of May.

Hi P5: Thanks for all the great info. It is nice to see you commenting again on news. Peter Ball was pretty upbeat about reaching 1200tpd sometime in May. To procure the $ 5M from Deutsche Bank they need to reach the milling rate of 1200tpd for 14 consecutive days. We will see if they can do it. Alternatively they can go at Max/Fran for upto $15Million thru the exercising of warrants IF necessary.
Mid-April YE report. Mid May AGM. Drilling results for Bedard Dyke coming soon. PDAC this weekend, with visible AU drill cores. Should be interesting times ahead. It appears PK is focused on getting Lamaque on-line before she is let loose chasing down acquisitions. Peter said there will not be any talk of M&A's now and in the near future. FWIW.
