VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Dec. 31, 2009) - The following issue(s) have been halted on the TSXV today:
Company/Compagnie: Century Mining Corporation TSX V Symbol/Symbole: CMM Reason/Motif: Request of company pending news Halt Time (ET)/Heure de l'Arret: 9:21:00 EST
Please note that IIROC is not able to provide any additional information regarding a specific trading halt or resume. Information is limited to general enquiries only.
Peter Ball was named VP of IR about a month ago and is quickly getting caught up with everything CMM.
The Website is outdated and a whole new one is being worked on. It should be out in the next 45 days.

The halt today will be all day and go into Monday. The reason for the halt is the financing and the Sedar Early warning reports that were being issued. These reports attested to the signatures of the financing documents and were not issued to everyone at the same time. A total of 7 signatures were needed and this takes time and they wanted no one to take advantage of this delay, hence the halt. On Monday, Peter expects that news to be released and the stock to resume trading.
I liked Peter and believe he will be a great asset for our company.
He pointed out that we are currently getting only $38 per ounce while mid tier companies are getting 300-400 dollars per ounce so we have lots of work to do to convince people that we merit that type of valuation. However, we have the right people, treasury (once all is completed here-sounds like it is), properties and sector to do extremely well.
I am raising my target for CMM to 60 cents in the next month as I believe more funds will jump into CMM like Hampton did. Shares at our current price will be non available once financing is all closed next week IMO.
