What a difference a year makes

Last year on this date we traded 510,000 shares with most sold at 1.5 cents!  Congratulations to all that had the preserverance to hang in there when things looked the bleakest.  We always had the assets, but last year cash was king and we had none.  We are now flush with cash and bankruptcy is no longer a possibility. We have lots to look forward to in the coming year:
  • A new Board of Directors with a new Chairman
  • The re-start of Lamaque
  • Drill results from Bedard Dyke which will eventually increase resources
  • Results of modelling work to add resources and convert resources into reserves
  • A TSE listing
  • increased production from San Juan now that development funds are available
  • a continuing bull market for gold (Gold back over $1,100 today)
Scotia really stepped up to the plate today.  "Anonymous" tried their best at the open to hold the price down, but Scotia's buying was un-relenting.  Others were rewarding themselves with an early Christmas present after we peaked at 43.5.  Hampton bought a few more at that price.  Here is today's summary:

Best Wishes to all for the Christmas Season and a Bright and Prosperous New Year!

Great day today and looking forward
to many more in the coming year. Thanks Carib, Production and all other longs who have contributed
here. Feels like I just gave birth
to a baby elephant...what a relief.
Wishing all here a safe and happy
holiday and all the best in the new year.

Cheers

Merry Christmas all, and I think we'll all sleep a little easier from here on in!

Prod05,
any idea on the following? Is this new, or was this already announced? I can't remember .16 coming into play.
Maxim Finskiy ("Finskiy"), Voznesensky Pereulok 22, 125993 Moscow, Russia, announces that a company wholly-owned by him has acquired 20,000,000 units of securities (the "Units") of Century Mining Corporation, ("Century") at a price of $0.16 per Unit (the "Acquisition") pursuant to two private transactions. Each Unit is comprised of one common share of Century and one-half of one common share purchase warrant (each whole common share purchase warrant, a "Warrant"). Each Warrant entitles the holder to purchase one common share at a price of $0.30 for a period of 18 months.
