cc speaker

For what it is, or isn't worth- if there isn't a designated questioner for this, I will be listening with a list of the questions, and will ask any from the list which are not asked by the rest of you. If any issues, please advise.

call peggy kent for the other 11M

Peggy is on board with us.

We must make it clear on the conference call that no one will back the deal at its present level.

They have to sweeten the offer to make this work.

There you go. Major just lied.

He claimed that the transaction - merger and bridge loan - came to us just after the breakdown of the crusher on Feb 9th.

Thing is they borrowed the money on Feb 6th.

They must have been discussing and arranging it for some time before then.

He's a liar.

I don`t think it`s just 11 million (although, that might be all that Blizzy needs). I think Peggy and Ross might still have most of their 25 million. They normally use a certain broker and there hasn`t been much activity with that broker since Peggy left. She is not the type of person to use ``anonymous`` (even during difficult times in the past with Century). Her and Ross could still have as many as 20 - 24 million shares remaining. Most of those shares were joint held between the 2 of them.

Yes, I agree, someone should call Peggy or Ross.

If 9 days of a cone crusher being down derailed CMM, why should this moron stay as CEO of the combined company?

Anonymous said...

Wow, they had such little confidence in the investor reaction, they had to invite some shills in. Criminals. .. .

Nice of him to so thoroughly answer those questions.

Interesting that Graham Eacott was there. hmmmmmmmmmm

GGL guy.

Could he get his nose any further up Major's rear end do you think ?

These guys had not much to say to impress me about WTG. I only kept feeling the manupulation, deceipt and mistrust from all.

There better be a correction to the offer, they mentioned that they would need to discuss further after this CC.

The special meeting is extended 1 month to May 12 - which gives us more time to prepare ourselves for a retaliation or to build up a group that will have enough strengh to be heard.

Listening to the CC only SEAL NO DEAL for me!

And Mr Major got off lucky since they never come around to letting me ask a question. You were all too nice. I would have tore him a new a-hole.

No one asked if Lamaque *is* profitable now...instead Major was trying to give some old song/dance how they can't make $ without doing 2000 tpd or some other such nonsense. We ALL know Lamaque breaks even at 800 tpd or thereabouts.

Of course Major let slip that they were not lowering guidance at Lamaque which is still on target for the 70,000 oz...the PR of Mar 8 only said they were only "reviewing" Lamaque guidance - not revising downwards (HIS WORDS)....nice slick maneuvering there.

So CMM nicely on target of getting its 90-100K oz this year = PROFITABILITY which is why Finsky is licking his chops and sharpening his knives.

Second, Major lets Finsky off the hook why he didn't exercise his warrants "He's not here so I can't answer for him"...well he bloody damn well better be there next time since he's the one driving this deal.

NO ONE COULD ANSWER/JUSTIFIY WHITE TIGER VALUATION.... 20K oz worth 500M and Lamaque producing can't even get $300M m/c? (yeah just keep looking at your notes).

Just heard a lot of general jargon. Greater exposure to markets, globalized operations, greater competency within management..and on.

How about some definitive answers D.Major about WTG's assets. Course he's not going to speculate on WTG's share price, why would he? But he could have done a much better job spitting on stats on their projects, highlighting anything we're obviously missing. Because the way he talks about WTG is as if we are looking at completely separate financial books.

The one thing that was reassuring is that all retails seem to be not in favor of WTG, so this might work out.

Graham Eacott?

That is some fine shill they hand picked there.

He was in charge of IR when they were leading us down the road to destruction back in the (open pit) day.

Essentially, (per SEDI - and trust me, I check this stuff and I have a vivid memory) I don`t recall him owning any Century common shares - no or very little skin in the game as I recall.

Makes one wonder if he is playing their WTG game due to being considered for a position in the (potential) post consolidated company (either IR VP and big sell out salary, with P. Ball moving on, or a Director as they attempt to show fictitious Canadian legetimacy in the Canadian markets). I have no clue, thus I am not saying this is 100% true. However, as a shareholder, I am left wondering.

only ones congratulating themselves were Major and Eacott?

Looks like all other CMM shareholders not happy and voting no!

I especially like how Daniel Major emphasising growth of CMM then talking out of the other side of his mouth how we need White Tiger to even get profitable. Why the emphasis on growth if the mine is in shambles?

Believe you are correct P05.

PO5 - I beleive you had some experience with the HRG scam Serverstal was trying to pull?

Any advise or willing to take the lead on this?

Nick said...

For the gentleman at the CC, or should I say thieves. It is WTG that needs CMM not the other way around. CMM has the property, production, exposure with an estimated share value in excess of $3.00. What the hell does WTG have? Absolutely JACK.

People let’s protect our investment in CMM and vote NO, because they are trying to take us as fools.

Hi there,

Yes, I was very involved in the successful fight against Severstal.

Chris Charlwood was the face and front of the ressistence, but I was the behind the sences person suppling him with the analytical data and performaing certain key research. My buddy, Natural Currency, was the important website person gathering all of the shareholder info (in spreadsheet type format). There were a number of other very key contributors as well (they were all very important to the success of the efforts).

Most of the credit goes out to Chris Charlwood though. He is a great guy (and leader) that spent a lot of his own money to secure the vitory for HRG shareholders against the oppressive regime (IMO) from Russian.

Severstal was all about games, greed and guerrilla tactics. I see Finskiy and team as being no different at all (in my view).

Unfortunately, (similar to the HRG situation) I am still unable to be the point person at this time.

Peggy or the fund manager would probably make great leaders in this effort, but I don`t think they are in a situation what would allow them to take that role either.

I don`t think we have a Chris Charlwood here. That doesn`t mean we can`t move in a positive direction with the resources currently contributing.

Hi Prod,
Glorieux spearheaded the Noront fiasco back in Oct 2008. He did a remarkable job and may just want to jump in here as well. However he is off on vacation in Forida, so we will have to wait until he returns, to see if he is interested.
Tks RR

Not putting myself forward but:
(age is a deterent) I find too much
deference at these C.C. Do the PhD's
scare people off? Not me. Worked extensvely (my coleagues)in that environment.
The 2 today are phonies, stumbling over simple questions. Of course they are operating in perilous territory. One slip and they are facing serious criminal charges. My brother has had extensive court room experience which could be invaluable at BoD meetings.

(Spent 30 yrs with D.ofJ. handling
files most in Canada are familar with. No direct experience in investing or mining.

Hi guys i posted this on stockhouse was wondering if anyone can help me as i really want to nail these ruskies

So I called my broker Today, they didnt seem to have a claer answer as this is not something they probably used to dealing with. My situation is i have 136,000 shares of CMM inside TFSA account. According to broker they would have to relinquish ownership of shares to me and have the shares be taken out of the registered account in order for me to be able to file dissent, im guessign there might be another way around this but I would really appreciate a 2nd opinion, considering i really dont want to take out that much money out of my registered account to then be subject to capital gains if and when i do have to take a profit afterwards.

No taxes ever in a tfsa!

BUT here is where some get hung up.

You can put back that amt (or any lesser amt back) but not before Jan 1 of following year otherwise rev Can, charges you 12% interest(could be changed for 2011) Was 12% 2010

yeah I called TD Waterhouse to find out what my options were they said shares are under Waterhouse, so basically id have to deregister and its not worth losing the capital gains exemption for 3/4 of a year. But im sure there must be a way to do dissent rights join with other TD Waterhouse share owners without having ownership turned over to me. Just not familiar with this process as ive never been involved in such a situation. I just really wanna be involved in this process, but not at a massive financial cost to me.
